In the CPO\/eMSP Charging Services Study, USCALE is now conducting its seventh investigation into <strong>which <\/strong>charge point operators (CPOs) and e-mobility service providers (eMSPs) are preferred by electric car drivers in <strong>which situations<\/strong> and <strong>why<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study provides current market shares, key provider groups, and explains reasons for usage and switching (<strong>churn<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus is on the <strong>customer journey<\/strong>: key decision-making factors are analyzed, from provider selection to usage, supplemented by a <strong>CONJOINT analysis<\/strong> of the most important selection criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Providers receive detailed usage profiles to evaluate their <strong>positioning<\/strong> and develop new <strong>competitive advantages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CPO\/eMSP Charging Services Study was conducted online in August 2025 among 2,210 electric car drivers <strong>in Germany<\/strong>, complemented by approximately 500 respondents in each of five other European countries (FR, UK, BE, SV, NO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" All respondents regularly charge in public spaces.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-generic-accordion generic-accordion\"><details id=\"value-added-and-benefit-for-cpos-and-all-providers-with-an-emsp-service\"><summary class=\"accordion-title\">Value added and benefit for CPOs and all providers with an eMSP service<\/summary><div class=\"accordion-text\">\n<p>The study is mainly aimed at <strong>business developers<\/strong>, <strong>product managers<\/strong> and <strong>marketing experts<\/strong> at <strong>charge point operators (CPOs)<\/strong>, <strong>providers of eMSP services<\/strong> and <strong>car manufacturers or importers<\/strong> with their own eMSP offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The eMSP \/ CPO Charging Services study provides the competitive position of all provider groups and large individual providers. It shows eMSP provider groups and large individual providers how their market shares have developed, the most important reasons for use and when and why customers switch to another provider. This enables CPOs and eMSPs to improve the strengths and weaknesses of their own offerings.
